I got into the Mortgage Industry by chance; I had a couple of fraternity brothers working in the industry when I graduated college. It was my first job out of college, and I have been doing it ever since. I started my career as a Loan Originator in 2004 at Centex Home Equity 2004-2005. I then worked as an independent mortgage broker under a couple of small wholesale lenders from 2005 – 2007. From 2007-2008, I worked for Countrywide Home Loans until Bank of America bought out Countrywide. Bank of America extended me an offer to work for them as a retail loan originator; I made the transition and worked for B of A until 2011. In 2011, Chase recruited and worked as the retail loan originator for the Chase branches in Keller, TX; Then took over retail originations in the Chase Private Client branch in Colleyville, TX from 2012-2015. I started working for LHM Financial in December 2015.
To be successful in the Mortgage Industry, you must always be learning and expanding your knowledge base. As they say, the only thing sure in the Mortgage Industry is that it will ever be changing. The job necessity to continually be learning and expand my knowledge base to succeed in this industry has kept me interested all these years. This industry is incredibly complex and fascinating to me, and I love that I learn something new every day. When it comes to my clients, I provide solutions for some of the most complicated files. I work with a lot of Self-Employed business owners that have multiple companies and multiple business structures, and various streams of income. I also prioritize educating the client and providing them with the knowledge they need to make the best possible decisions during the home buying process. I am an advocate for the client, ensuring their best interests are at hand. I love that I can help people accomplish homeownership, whether it is a clients' first home or their dream home; assisting a person in achieving homeownership's goal is a great feeling. I do my very most to be upfront and honest with a client and explain any potential challenges ahead. Should any challenges develop, I will work endlessly until it's resolved. I enjoy having a much closer and much more personal relationship with my clients. Our company provides a structure where we can indeed be the best possible advocate for the customer.
You can find me with my wife and two daughters (3 and 9 years old) out on the boat on the lake with friends during summer. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and good food. I love a great restaurant.
